Troy Hendrick
Troy Hendrick is a former prosecutor in Dekalb County, Georgia, and has handled thousands of cases dealing with traffic, DUI, drugs, violent crimes, weapons and many others throughout his career. Troy has lectured for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council in Georgia on effective techniques for DUI prosecution, as well as trained law enforcement officers in the nuances of search-and-seizure law. In addition, Troy is NHTSA-certified (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) in Field Sobriety Testing evaluations. He has studied the same training and received the same 20-hour course certification as the officers who make DUI cases. We believe that being successful includes being properly trained, and mastering the subject-matter on which you will challenge the officers.
Troy has been a guest on the Midnight Trucking Radio Network’s Freightliner Run Smart Hour, answering legal questions from professional drivers all over the country. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Criminal Defense Section of the Georgia Bar Association, the Dekalb County Bar Association, and the lead attorney in Georgia for a national network of top traffic lawyers accessible through TixNix.com
Although Atlanta is now his permanent residence, Troy is a North Carolinian, born and raised outside of Winston-Salem, NC. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He went on to graduate from the Wake Forest University School of Law. Troy's hobbies include motorcycling, fishing and other outdoor activities.
